We always like something a bit different at the barn and Becky and Michael have delivered with his regal-looking decoration at the bar end.
Come and join us for our Christmas Fair on Sunday 3rd December with all proceeds going to neighbouring St Peter’s Church. Read more
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with today’s grape harvest – we couldn’t have done it without you!
It looks like a bumper crop which will allow us to make a rose again and a white bacchus…but we’ll have to wait until January to get our first taste. In the meantime it’s over to Shawsgate Vineyard in Framlingham to make and blend the wine. Cheers for now!
Directions to Copdock Hall just got a whole lot easier with our own brown tourist sign to the barn. Directing guests to the Hall and vineyard, the brown signs sit at the junction to Belstead on the Old London Road which a small number of our visitors miss, sending them off in different directions and other church lanes thanks to older satnavs!
So now look out for the signs and follow the arrows and they’ll take you to our barn. Happy days!
It’s come a little earlier this year…but the wasps are back at Copdock Hall Vineyard.
Just hours until our ‘midsummer mosey’ at the barn this evening…and the sun has arrived!
Great to host the Ipswich Decorative & Fine Arts Society’s 25th anniversary at the barn with a fitting lecture on the town’s most famous cartoonist – Carl Giles.
Great to feature in an excellent four-page spread on East Anglian wines in the features section of today’s East Anglian Daily Times. Humbled to sit alongside such exulted company including Winbirri Vineyard which recently won Decanter magazine’s world’s best single varietal white wine award for its bacchus wine. Our more modest 2016 rose is now on sale for £10. See the Vineyard section of this website for more details and how to buy it.
Victoria and Tom’s wedding on Saturday was a first for Copdock Hall – the bride and groom arrived at the venue in a spanking new (and clean) bright red tractor.
