Grape expectations at Copdock Hall Vineyard

Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with today’s grape harvest – we couldn’t have done it without you!

It looks like a bumper crop which will allow us to make a rose again and a white bacchus…but we’ll have to wait until January to get our first taste. In the meantime it’s over to Shawsgate Vineyard in Framlingham to make and blend the wine. Cheers for now!

One direction to Copdock Hall

Directions to Copdock Hall just got a whole lot easier with our own brown tourist sign to the barn. Directing guests to the Hall and vineyard, the brown signs sit at the junction to Belstead on the Old London Road which a small number of our visitors miss, sending them off in different directions and other church lanes thanks to older satnavs!

So now look out for the signs and follow the arrows and they’ll take you to our barn. Happy days!

Happy wine days at Copdock Hall

Happy days at the weekend when we received a Silver Medal from the East Anglian Vineyards Association for our rose – up from a bronze last year
Thanks to them for a great social at Toppesfield Vineyard and for all those who support Copdock Hall Vineyard.

Copdock Hall Vineyard in EADT wine feature

Great to feature in an excellent four-page spread on East Anglian wines in the features section of today’s East Anglian Daily Times. Humbled to sit alongside such exulted company including Winbirri Vineyard which recently won Decanter magazine’s world’s best single varietal white wine award for its bacchus wine. Our more modest 2016 rose is now on sale for £10. See the Vineyard section of this website for more details and how to buy it.
